Do you all know about the PC game Second Life? It's rumored to have appeared too early for its time. While I was on X, I saw someone playing Second Life and felt a wave of nostalgia! I thought, "Maybe I'll take a peek!" so I installed it and logged in. True to form, I just wandered around alone in the game. You control an avatar, and I saw a Sephiroth avatar from FF7 for sale, I think it was about 499 Linden Dollars? I can't quite remember, but I bought it and became Sephiroth. Seeing Sephiroth standing all alone in the vast landscape was incredibly surreal, so I took a screenshot for posterity and then logged off...

When the Chugoku and Kinki regions had a remarkably early end to their rainy season, I thought Kanto might follow suit. However, it turns out Kanto's rainy season hasn't ended yet, and it's expected around the 21st. It hasn't rained much, but it's been very cool; last night, it was so cold I had to put on a jacket, which was quite a surprise.
I've injured my foot; the side of my left big toe is painful. I'm applying antibiotics, wearing a bandage, and trying to avoid bumping it, waiting for it to heal. The pain has significantly subsided. Everyone, please be careful of sudden injuries.
